Im Rahmen der Schubertiade Riehen fand vom 01. bis 03. Dezember 2023 wurde erstmalig ein Klavierwettbewerb ausgetragen, der darauf abzielte, Kinder und Jugendliche mit dem umfangreichen Klavierwerk von Franz Schubert vertraut zu machen. Initiantin und künstlerischen Leiterin des Wettbewerbs ist die Pianistin Irina Georgieva. Dieses Ereignis bot jungen, musikbegeisterten Talenten eine einzigartige Plattform, um ihre Fähigkeiten und ihre Liebe zur Musik unter Beweis zu stellen.

Ausgewählte Preisträger dieses Wettbewerbs durften am 15. Juni 2024 an einem Meisterkurs mit der Pianistin Irena Gulzarova und dem Pianisten Justas Dvarionas teilnehmen. Der Meisterkurs entstand aus der Zusammenarbeit von piano-talents (Irina Georgieva) und Jugend beflügelt (Irena Gulzarova) mit der Kantonsschule Uster, wo der Anlass stattfand.

As part of the Schubertiade Riehen, a piano competition was held for the first time from 1 to 3 December 2023 with the aim of familiarising children and young people with the extensive piano works of Franz Schubert. The initiator and artistic director of the competition is the pianist Irina Georgieva. This event offered young, music-loving talents a unique platform to demonstrate their skills and their love of music.

Selected winners of this competition were invited to take part in a masterclass with pianist Irena Gulzarova and pianist Justas Dvarionas on 15 June 2024. The masterclass was the result of a collaboration between piano-talents (Irina Georgieva) and Jugend beflügelt (Irena Gulzarova) and the Kantonsschule Uster, where the event took place.

Teilnahmebedingungen:

Zu präsentieren sind ein oder zwei Werke von insgesamt 8 Minuten Dauer. Jede:r Kandidat:in bekommt eine Unterrichtszeit von 30 min. Das Programm soll möglichst auf Konzertniveau vorbereitet sein. Der Meisterkurs ist öffentlich, alle Kandidaten sind auch als aktive Zuhörer beteiligt. Die Liste der vorgetragenen Werke wird im voraus bekannt gegeben; so können sich alle Teilnehmer bei gewissen Werken vorbereiten, sich die Notenpartitur verschaffen und somit vom Unterricht der Kollegen und Kolleginnen maximal profitieren.

Conditions of participation:

One or two works totalling 8 minutes are to be presented. Each candidate will be given 30 minutes of teaching time. The programme should be prepared at concert level if possible. The masterclass is open to the public, all candidates are also involved as active listeners. The list of works to be performed will be announced in advance so that all participants can prepare for certain works, obtain the score and thus benefit to the maximum from the teaching of their colleagues.
